If Hell is a giant party, then Figure is certainly the headliner. Combining his love for all things horror, occult, and the macabre with a talent for producing heavy-bass dubstep, electro house, and drumstep, Joshua Gard, better known as Figure, unleashes a a diabolic sound that has gained him widespread recognition and a cult following (his diehard fan’s are known as Figure’s monsters) over the course of his DJ career.
Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Figure has been blazing through the EDM scene since 2009, performing amongst the biggest names and massive audiences for events such as Ultra Music Festival, EZOO, Moonrise Festival, EDC NY and Vegas, as well as becoming a staple at Badass’ own massive east coast Halloween celebration, Nightmare Festival. Additionally, Figure has released several volumes of his notable Monsters series which became the official soundtrack to Universal Studio’s Hollywood Horror Nights theme park since 2012, including hits such as “Freddy Krueger” and “Are You Afraid of the Dark ft. Lexi Norton”.
This past year, Figure embarked on the All Black Everything tour with the equally talented bass crushing artist, Crizzly. 2015 is undoubtedly another highly successful year for the electric Prince of Darkness; earlier this year, Figure released his full length album “Gravity”, following the release with an ongoing international tour. Coinciding with his tour, Figure announced the release of his highly anticipated addition to the Monster series, Monster 6.66 on Tuesday, October 6th, and is now available on DOOM Music everywhere. Figure is returning to Darlington, MD this Halloween to wreak havoc and raise Hell at Nightmare Festival. Among all his tour stops, Nightmare is the only to include Figure’s Terrorvision which will feature shocking gore imagery and classic horror video samples to create the ultimate Halloween experience.
